The image you see of Syd and Nelly is actually a composite of four different photos. Several similar shots were taken of them. The flowers, top hat, and Nelly’s head come from different photos. It was Syd’s idea for the photo of them to be used in the negative. The effect definitely makes the image more interesting to look at. Syd and Nelly are good friends. |
