I originally designed a straight, traditional looking business card. I then received the following from the customer: "It looks too safe...too conventional. Chuck Smith would be proud, but me? Let's think art! Let's make a statement." Needless to say, us designer folk love to hear such things. So I went for it. The look I was going for was sort of a psuedo retro. I also re-designed the CCR logo, taking cues from an earlier version designed by Jeffrey McCormack. The dove emblem is common to all Calvary Chapels. |
