frequently asked questions What should we wear to the wedding? This is you chance to wear something outrageous or outlandish if you are so inclined. If tradition is your thing then standard tasteful semi-formal or formal wear is just fine. Jeans and a tshirt are not really appropriate, but leather pants with a dog collar is. What can we expect the reception to include? An excellent buffet style dinner, a memorable cake, a multimedia tribute to the newlyweds, and an evening of dancing – all in a cozy light hearted atmosphere. Will Rosheen change her last name to Burr? No. Bishop is a perfectly good name. We considered changing both of our names to Burrshop. :) What is the theme of the wedding? There is no one true theme. There are elements of goth, but mostly it's an eclectic, rock 'n' roll, artistic reflection of who we are and what we like. Where will you live? Our current plans are to live in Bellevue, Washington. See the residence page. Why are you not having a traditional white wedding? **Yawn** What are the wedding colors? Black and red with silver highlights. What do you want as a gift? See our gift registry page. If you'd like to get us something not on the registries, we would, of course, gladly accept it. We are coming from the U.S. Should we bring our gift to Canada? If you want. However, if dopping it by the Bellevue residence is convenient, it saves us and you the hassle of having to deal with customs at the U.S. / Canada border. Why December 9th? Sheen wanted a December wedding because she loves the Christmas season. We didn't have it later in the month because it would conflict with peoples' holiday plans.
